1. Our Role in the Refund Process
RNR Travel Ltd acts as a booking facilitator between customers and independent third-party car rental suppliers. All refunds are governed by the rental supplier’s cancellation and refund policies. We do not have the authority to override or alter supplier decisions regarding refunds.
2. Cancellations Before Pickup
Customers may cancel a reservation before the scheduled pickup time, subject to the rental supplier’s cancellation policy. Some bookings may qualify for free cancellation within a specified timeframe, while others may incur cancellation penalties or be completely non-refundable.
Cancellation eligibility and any applicable fees are displayed during the booking process.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility depends on the specific rental supplier’s terms and the timing of the cancellation. If a refund is approved, the refunded amount may be reduced by:
- Supplier cancellation or administrative fees
- Non-refundable booking or service fees
- Any applicable taxes or surcharges not refundable under local regulations
Refunds are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated in the booking conditions.
4. No-Show Policy
If a customer fails to pick up the vehicle at the scheduled time without prior notice, the reservation may be classified as a “no-show.” In such cases:
- The full rental amount may be forfeited
- No refund will be issued
- The vehicle may be released to another customer
5. Early Returns & Unused Rental Days
Returning a vehicle earlier than the scheduled return date does not typically qualify for a partial refund. Most rental suppliers treat early returns as voluntary, and unused rental days are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
6. Booking Modifications
Requests to modify a reservation (such as changing dates, locations, or vehicle type) are subject to supplier approval and availability. Price differences or modification fees may apply. If a modification results in cancellation, refund eligibility will follow the original booking’s cancellation policy.
7. Non-Refundable Bookings
Certain promotional, discounted, or prepaid reservations are marked as non-refundable. Once confirmed, these bookings cannot be canceled or refunded under any circumstances. Customers are advised to review booking terms carefully before completing a non-refundable reservation.
8. Denied Pickups & Ineligibility
Refunds will not be issued if the rental is denied due to customer ineligibility, including but not limited to:
- Invalid or expired driver’s license
- Failure to present a valid credit card for the security deposit
- Not meeting minimum age or driving requirements
- Mismatched renter information
9. Force Majeure Events
In cases of events beyond reasonable control (such as severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies), refund eligibility will be determined solely by the rental supplier’s policies. RNR Travel Ltd may assist with communication but cannot guarantee refunds in such cases.
10. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are typically processed within 7 to 21 business days and credited back to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the rental supplier, bank policies, or international transaction delays.
11. Method of Refund
Refunds are issued using the same payment method used for the original booking. Some suppliers may offer alternative compensation such as credits or vouchers, subject to customer acceptance.
12. Service Fees
Any service or processing fees charged by RNR Travel Ltd are non-refundable, as these fees cover administrative and operational services performed at the time of booking.
13. Acceptance of Refund Policy
By completing a reservation through RNR Travel Ltd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy. We reserve the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
